Thames Barbarians become CPGA members in 2021!

Thames Barbarians Pilot Gig club were accepted into the CPGA world of rowing at the AGM in January 2021. Membership of the CPGA brings new opportunities to row and race with many other gig clubs in different parts of the country.

With the launch of Magwitch, our first wooden racing gig, we became full CPGA members in January 2022. This has led to competition at various CPGA events and regattas including the World Pilot Gig Championships on the Isles of Scilly, held in early May each year.
